Cleansing your crystal

Your crystal has traveled from the earth, to those who have discovered, packaged, shipped them etc.

I love to give thanks to each part of the process & all the hands the crystal has traveled through, then clear the crystal of any energies it has picked up along the way.

As you hold your new crystal listen for the message it carries and how it can best support you.

Ways to cleanse:

Water - rinse under running water (avoid leaving softer crystals in water for too long)

Sun - set in direct sunlight or on a windowsill (avoid leaving crystals in the sun for too long as prolonged sun exposure can cause some crystals to fade)

Smoke - use smoke from sage or palo santo to cleanse your crystal

Sound - Use sound vibrations such as singing bowls, tuning forks, drums or music

Intention - simply hold your crystal with the intention of cleansing. You can visualize a golden light cleansing your crystal and restoring it to its natural state.

Charging your crystal

You may want to charge your crystals if they begin to feel heavy or are lacking their original energy.

You can use sunlight, moonlight, water, sound or by holding and stating your new desire for the crystal.
